A is for Accessible

Accessibility is the concept of whether a product or service can be used by everyone — however they encounter it. Accessibility laws exist to aid people with disabilities, but designers should try to accommodate all potential users in many contexts of use anyway. To do so has firm benefits — notably better designs for all. ~ Interaction Design Foundation

Body

The word accessibility most often brings these symbols to mind:

Office of Equal Opportunity Disability Accessibility

Mind

With the addition of computers in every aspect of our lives, additional lenses are needed to provide access to a better human experience…

Spirit

People are so much more than their identified limits, which — beyond the physical or intellectual expressions that might be more apparent — are often invisible.

What we need are places to express those invisible gifts, places where we can transact transformation.

We need a new model that is that simple entry point to complexity, allowing spaces to meet people where they are, give them better tools and the support
