Just before the 2016 election, Dan Rather shared this message:
Clearly his advice wasn’t heeded.
Over the last 4 years, social media was consciously weaponized with the explicit purpose to “…manipulate[d] human psychology to rewire the human brain and what it means for society in general.” [source: The Social Dilemma — Netflix, September 2020]
This has led to extraordinarily inhumane levels of outrage burning in every quarter of our shared society.
Rather than staying in this state of outrage and, literally, burning out, we’re proposing that we capture that energy in a new container and use the light to illuminate a path forward to an inclusive, shared story of future for all, no exceptions.
